How can I prepare my home for my carpet cleaning appointment?

To help us give your carpets the best cleaning possible, please:

  • Turn on your furnace fan to the ON position
  • Open windows 1-2 inches if the weather allows.  Good ventilation is key!
  • Clear the floors of any objects. This includes toys, shoes, and anything else in the way.
  • Raise bed skirts and hanging clothing in closets at least 6 inches off the floor.
  • Ensure pathways are at least 16 inches wide. Our machines need space to work their magic!
  • After we leave... Turn your ceiling fans ON. This helps speed drying!

By taking these simple steps, you'll ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process. We appreciate your cooperation!

How accurate are your quotes? Are there going to be hidden fees once you arrive?

Transparency is key when it comes to pricing. Here's how we ensure accurate quotes and avoid any surprises:

  • Initial Upfront Estimates: We provide detailed estimates based on the information you provide about your home and cleaning needs.
  • Precise Measurements: Our team will take accurate room measurements upon arrival to finalize the quote.  Providing your own measurements beforehand helps us give you the most accurate price possible from the start.
  • Open Communication:  We encourage you to discuss any concerns about your carpet conditions upfront.  The more information we have, the better we can tailor our services and provide a precise quote.

We believe in straightforward pricing, so you can relax and enjoy a clean home without worrying about unexpected costs.

Will you move our furniture?

We're happy to help move small, lightweight furniture items to a hard surface floor for the entire duration of the cleaning. Just let us know!  However, we can't move heavy or bulky pieces. Please arrange to have those moved before we arrive.

Keep in mind, the area under furniture is often the cleanest part of your carpet. While it might need a quick vacuum, it usually doesn't require a full cleaning if it hasn't been walked on.

When can I walk on my carpets after cleaning?

You can walk on your carpets right away. We'll happily provide shoe covers to protect your freshly cleaned carpets.

Most carpets dry within 1-2 hours, but just a friendly reminder: Be extra cautious, as they may still be damp. Stairs and hard surface transitions can be especially slippery after cleaning.

We want to ensure your safety and prevent any accidental slips!

How long should I wait to put my furniture back after cleaning?

It's best to wait a bit before moving your furniture back onto your freshly cleaned carpets. We generally recommend a minimum of 1-4 hours, but ideally 6-24 hours is best for thorough drying and to prevent any potential marks or indentations.

Of course, each situation is unique!  We'll be happy to give you a more specific recommendation based on your carpet type, the cleaning performed, and the drying conditions in your home. Just ask our team while we're there!

Do you guarantee Stain-removal?

While we can't guarantee the removal of every single stain, we absolutely give it our all!

Stain removal can depend on a few factors:

  • Carpet age and material: Older carpets or certain fibers may be more susceptible to permanent staining.
  • Stain type: Some substances are simply tougher to remove than others.
  • Stain age: The longer a stain sits, the harder it becomes to lift.

We're experts in stain removal and use our best techniques and cleaning solutions to tackle even the toughest spots. However, complete removal isn't always possible.

Important Note: Some stains, like slime, artificial dyes, or excessive gum, may require specialized treatment and could incur an extra cost. Please let us know about any concerns beforehand so we can discuss the best approach and provide an accurate quote.

I’ve had spots reappear after a cleaning, will this happen?

It's rare for spots to reappear after our cleaning, but it can happen occasionally. This is sometimes due to a phenomenon called "wicking," where deep-seated dirt is drawn back up to the surface as the carpet dries.

Rest assured, we take pride in our thorough cleaning methods, and we're committed to your satisfaction. If you do experience any reappearing spots, please don't hesitate to contact us. We'll make it right!

Do you also do area rugs?

We sure do! We can clean most area rugs right in your home. However, for delicate rugs like hand-crafted and fragile rugs, we recommend professional cleaning at a specialized rug plant. We're happy to provide recommendations for trusted rug care specialists in your area.

Do you clean Upholstery?

We certainly do! We offer professional upholstery cleaning to freshen up your furniture and remove dirt, dust mites, and allergens.  Just let us know the type of furniture and fabric you have, and we'll be happy to provide a quote.

Will you provide a receipt?

Absolutely! You'll receive a detailed receipt via email after every service. This will include a breakdown of the services performed, the total cost, and any applicable taxes.

What if I have limited parking at my home?

Limited parking? No problem at all! We typically park in your driveway, but we're happy to work with you to find the best solution if that's not possible.  Just let us know the parking situation beforehand, and we'll do our best to accommodate it.

Here are a few things that would be helpful:

  • Clear Instructions: Provide specific directions on where to park or the best route to access your location.
  • Alternative Parking Options: If available, let us know about nearby street parking, public parking lots, or any special permits required.

The more information you provide, the smoother our arrival and setup will be. We appreciate your cooperation!

What happens if I'm not satisfied with the service?
